Privacy Policy

This is a working draft pending legal review. It describes how the service handles data today and is not yet a final legal agreement.

What we collect

Account information. Your email address and password, managed through Amazon Cognito.
Files you upload. Your resume, your LinkedIn data archive, and any additional documents you provide.
Your professional profile. The structured profile and the enrichment facts generated from your uploads and your answers in the discovery conversation.
Conversations. Messages in the discovery chat, and recruiter questions and answers exchanged on your public page.

How we use it

We use your uploads and answers to build your professional profile and to power the public page that answers recruiter questions on your behalf. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Service providers

We process and store data on Amazon Web Services. We send profile and conversation text to Anthropic to generate AI responses and to select the background relevant to a recruiter's question. These providers process the data on our behalf and do not use it to train their models.

Analytics

We use our own first-party analytics to understand usage (page views, time on page, and active sessions). It uses an anonymous identifier stored in your browser and is not shared with any third party or used for advertising. We do not use Google Analytics or similar trackers.

Your public page

Your recruiter page is private until you publish it. When you publish, the page shows your name, headline, and summary, and the bot may share facts you marked as public or relevant. Facts you mark as private are never sent to the public bot. You can unpublish at any time from Settings.

Google Calendar

If you connect Google Calendar, we store a token that lets us read your free/busy times (to offer recruiters open slots) and create the meetings you approve. We do not read the contents or titles of your events. You can disconnect at any time from Settings, which revokes our access and deletes the token. Connecting is optional.

Retention

We do not retain personal information in logs or caches beyond 30 days. Recruiter conversation transcripts are kept for 30 days. Your uploaded files and profile are kept until you delete them or close your account. As an exception, confirmed and pending meeting bookings (which include the recruiter's name, email, and the meeting time) are kept until you delete them or close your account, so that scheduled meetings remain on record.

Deleting your data

You can permanently delete your account from Settings. Deletion removes your account, your uploaded files (including prior versions), your profile and enrichments, your public page, your chat sessions, and your meeting bookings, and revokes any Google Calendar access. This cannot be undone.
